Our Response:

Hello Grace,

I hope I am getting this to you in time!  My name is Capt. Scott McCune with FISHNTEXAS.COM and it would be my privilege to answer the questions you have.  I live near Estes Flats, which is a part of the Aransas Bay system and it is located between Rockport, Texas and Aransas Pass, Texas.  Estes Flats are a part of a State scientific area because it contains the largest contiguous Seagrass beds in the State.  Seagrass is very important to our entire ecosystem (most important: Fish).  I live about 100 miles from you, so our weather is about the same, it is mostly warm and sunny!  In addition, your last question was what do I do for a living – I was a Rodeo Cowboy who rode Bulls and now I own a fishing and hunting business.  I do about everything that pertains to fishing and hunting:  I take people fishing, I take people duck hunting, I do a lot of fishing training trips, I do a lot of seminars to teach people about fishing and hunting and I take my son who is 10 years old fishing and hunting a lot!  I have enclosed some pictures to give you an idea of what we do and what we look like!

Sincerely,

Capt. Scott McCune

Fish More, Live Longer!
Capt. Scott McCune
