This fall, the House of Representatives will vote on H.R. 5018, the "American Fisheries Management and Marine Life Enhancement Act."

Contact your representative today and ask them to oppose H.R. 5018, the American Fisheries Management and Marine Life Enhancement Act, unless strengthening amendments that truly fix this seriously flawed bill are adopted. In its current form, this bill rolls back critical conservation protections of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (MSA) - the primary law governing the management of our nation's ocean fisheries.

Any weakening of the law will have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems, commercial and recreational fisheries, and coastal economies! Help us flood the U.S. House of Representatives with faxes asking them to oppose H.R. 5018, unless amendments are adopted that truly fix this bill.

This may be the last opportunity we have to influence lawmakers before the House votes!
