Capt John Holley-Destin, FL I've seen the orcas twice in the Gulf. 1st time in 1988 the scientist told me I had to be mistaken (OK-nothing else looks like an ORCA) 2nd time in 2002 I got pictures. There were at least 11, but maybe 12. 2 very large males, 2 small calves w/ their mothers and they appeared to stay in 2 separate groups. Both calves simultaneously turned upside an began knocking heads with their mothers on opposite sides of the boat. 1 large male rushed a lure then backed off---wild
